This volleyball season has been an emotional one. Every game feels winnable because of the team’s amazing competitiveness in every match. The overall performance has been admirable, even though it’s bittersweet to have come so close in so many games without winning more. 

However, the team’s perseverance has paid off as they secured spots in both the conference and state playoffs. So it is now coming down to if they can win when the pressure is on. 

A standout achievement this season is winning the sportsmanship award for the CRAL conference. This marks the first time since Coach Carson Dunn has been the coach, that the team has received this honor. “I was so excited to hear this news because it is the first year we have won this while I have been coaching, and I prioritize sportsmanship and student development above all else,” said Coach Dunn, expressing immense pride and excitement over this recognition, highlighting it as a significant positive from the season.
