Letters to the Editor

The University Times welcomes and encourages expressions of opinion from its readers. Do you have a comment about something that appeared in this newspaper? Or do you just want to voice your thoughts on a current event or issue at school?

Letters may be e-mailed to Editor Liam McCusker at [email protected], and may be published provided that they adhere to the following guidelines.

Letters may not exceed 300 words in length, and must include the writer’s name – no initials. Personal attacks, smear campaigns, opinions that are not based on fact, and information that is deemed libelous will never be published. The editorial staff reserves the right to cut off debate on certain topics, and to edit any submission for grammar, content, and brevity.

Corrections

The University Times is committed to accuracy, and our staff carefully checks all content that we publish to ensure that the facts are presented truthfully and clearly. If you find an error, please email Editor Liam McCusker at [email protected]. Corrections will be published as necessary.
