This year English teacher, Robert Burbank took over as the new esports advisor/coach. The teams competed at Connecticut Plug in as well as hosted their LAN event in late October. The team competes in both the Connecticut Cup and CIAC.
The team recently competed in the LAN (Local Area Network) event. There were many colleges that came to learn about eports, including but not limited to Syracuse University, Fisher College, and more. At the event, participants could play games like Rocket League, Valorant, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. When talking about the showcase, sa Coach Burbank said, “I was happy with the way everything turned out at the showcase.” If the showcase went well, there will hopefully be a great outcome with the fall season of esports.
