If you weren’t able to attend homecoming this year, here’s how it went! The event was themed around the Hall of Fame and Hollywood. The class of 2026 worked so hard to put this event together for the school. The group of students who were part of the homecoming committee has been working since last year to come up with a theme and make sure everything was just perfect. When Chelsea Thompson ‘26 was asked how homecoming went, she responded, “I think it turned out well.”
Homecoming was a huge success for the junior class as they hit their goal of over 100 students attending. One of the unexpected challenges that the committee faced was that how they marketed it wasn’t how they thought it would be. There were many awards to be given out and many memories to be made. One memory that Thompson shared was, “I’d say the most memorable part was winning celebrity of the night.”
The class of 2027 is next up to plan homecoming! One piece of advice that Thompson would give to the class when planning homecoming is, “Budget out what you’re doing before you buy anything.” Homecoming 2024 was successful, so we wait to see what homecoming 2025 is like!
