The girls’ basketball team is off to a great start, showing determination and teamwork despite having a smaller roster this season. Their hard work and dedication have already impressed their supporters. Payten Carter, a member of the Class of 2028, shared her thoughts, saying, “I think the team is doing good, especially with how many people we have.” While their first official game is still coming up, the team has been using this time to build their skills and work together.
This year’s team is unique because the players come from different schools, giving them a chance to form new friendships. Working together toward a common goal has helped the team grow closer and build strong bonds.
The excitement is building for their first game, which is scheduled for December 19th against Hartford Public at SMSA. Fans are looking forward to seeing what this hardworking group will accomplish.
