As the volleyball season comes to an end, we are saying goodbye to our beloved Seniors and soon to say hello to our future players! This year’s girls’ volleyball team has created a memorable bond between each other and overcame challenges together as a sisterhood.
Watching the girls play on the court was exciting, and seeing their dynamic, fluidity, and energy was just the icing on a great season. Both varsity and Junior Varsity (Jv) have come a long way, and hopefully they will continue building their skills during the off-season.
“I am so gonna miss playing with my friends and especially my sister. My main advice to next year’s players is to show coach ability and hustle. That can really make or break your opportunity to be on the team,” said Isabella D’Agostino ‘25
Notable players Jenna Ghonaim ‘25 and Camilla Jerome ‘28 both won the CRAL All-League award! These two talented players were nominated and picked by coaches in the league to be considered the best players for the University High School of Science and Engineering team. The team also won a sportsmanship award by showing fair and generous treatment to other teams.
In conclusion, this volleyball season has been filled with unforgettable moments, strong friendships, and impressive achievements. As we say goodbye to our remarkable seniors, we also look forward to welcoming the next generation of players who will continue to foster this incredible spirit of teamwork and dedication. The lessons learned on and off the court will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact, inspiring future teams to strive for excellence. Congratulations to all the players on a fantastic season, and here’s to new beginnings and continued success!
